Yiannis Hrysomallis (born November 14, 1954, Kalamata, Greece) is a Greek "new age" pianist and composer known as Yanni, whose song "Keys To Imagination" appeared in the episode "The Cell Within" of the series Miami Vice.

Yanni began his career as a member of a band called Chameleon while attending the University of Minnesota, after which he moved to Los Angeles and began composing his own music, releasing his debut album, Optimystique, in 1984. He then formed a small band that included TV host/DJ John Tesh to promote his next three albums, Keys To Imagination (featuring the title track), Out of Silence, and Chameleon Days. In the 1990s Yanni received two Grammy nominations, for his albums Dare to Dream and In My Time. Yanni's music has been featured in commercials and sporting events such as the Super Bowl, Wide World of Sports, The Olympics, and many others. In all, Yanni has released fourteen albums from 1984-2011, and tours around the world. In his personal life, Yanni dated actress Linda Evans (The Big Valley, Dynasty) from 1989 until 1998.
