"Wonderful Tonight" is a song by Eric Clapton, featured on the album Slowhand in 1977 and released as a single that year. It appeared in the Miami Vice episode "One Eyed Jack".
Notes[]
- The song was written for Clapton's then-wife Pattie Boyd.
- Yvonne Elliman provided background vocals on the song (as she did for several of his hits, including "Lay Down Sally" and "I Shot the Sheriff". She had a #1 hit the same year that "Wonderful Tonight" came out, "If I Can't Have You", from the Saturday Night Fever soundtrack (which kept Clapton's album Slowhand from reaching #1).
