Shriekback (born December 24, 1959) was an English rock band whose songs "Underwaterboys" (in "Knock, Knock... Who's There?" and "Running on the Rocks" (in "Baseballs of Death") of the episode Miami Vice.
Career

The band was formed from previous members of XTC (Barry Andrews) and Gang of Four (Dave Allen), and they were joined by Martyn Baker and Carl Marsh. The band released five albums between 1981-1989 with little success before they broke up; Allen returned to Gang of Four and Andrews worked on other projects, released a new Shriekback album in 1992, then four more between 2000-2007.
