Pepe Serna (born July 23, 1944) is an American actor, who appeared in the show Miami Vice as Zabado, a Peruvian drug dealer who worked with Charlie Glide (played by Ned Eisenberg) and Lydia Sugarman (played by Anne Carlisle) in the episode "Yankee Dollar", and Oswaldo Guzman, a former drug dealer turned bookmaker who resorted to fixing fights and had Larry Zito killed when he asked to be cut in on the gambling action in exchange for the contract of fighter Bobby Sykes (played by Mark Breland) in the episodes "Down for the Count (Part I)" and "Down for the Count (Part II).

Serna was born in Corpus Christi, Texas. He moved to Hollywood in 1969, and got his movie debue in 1970's The Student Nurses (with Reni Santoni), followed by roles in Red Sky at Montana (with Gregory Sierra), The Day of the Locust (with Karen Black), Car Wash (with Antonio Fargas and Jack Kehoe), Walk Proud (with Brad Sullivan), The Jerk, Honeysuckle Rose (with Willie Nelson), Vice Squad, Heartbreaker (with Fernando Allende and Miguel Ferrer), Scarface (with Al Israel, Carlos Cesteros, and Richard Belzer, Red Dawn (with Elan Oberon), Fandango, Silverado, Caddyshack II, Postcards From The Edge (with Annette Bening), The Rookie (with Tony Plana and Xander Berkeley), American Me (with Edward James Olmos, Tom Bower, and Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa), Bread and Roses (with Elpidia Carrillo), The Black Dahila, and his most recent appearance, in 2015's The Green Ghost (with Carrillo).

His TV career began with an appearance in Mannix, followed by appearances in Kung Fu, Adam-12, The Rookies (with Georg Stanford Brown), The Rockford Files (with Joe Santos), Baretta, Kojak, T. J. Hooker, Knight Rider (episode with Walter Gotell), Hill Street Blues (episode with Mykelti Williamson), Quantum Leap (with Dean Stockwell), Hotel Malibu, Second Chances (with Justin Lazard, both series also starred Jennifer Lopez), Sliders (with Cleavant Derricks), 42 episodes of the animated series The PJ's, and his most recent appearance, in Criminal Minds.

Personal LifeEdit

Serna met his wife Diane just after he arrived in Hollywood, they married in 1969 and are still together.
