Miami Vice III was the third and final soundtrack containing popular music from Miami Vice, released in 1988. It contains a selection of music mostly from Season 4 of the show.
Notes
Edit
- This is the only one of the three Miami Vice soundtrack albums where every song featured actually appeared on the show, and the only one not to feature Jan Hammer's "Miami Vice Theme".
- This is also the only album not to feature any songs recorded especially for the show, perhaps indicative of the shrinking music budget in later seasons.
- With the exception of Hammer's "New York Theme" (from Season 2), every track is taken from the fourth season of Miami Vice.
- The three Miami Vice soundtrack albums are also available in a box set as Miami Vice: The Ultimate Collection.
