Mark Linn-Baker (born June 17, 1954) is an American actor & director. He appeared in the show Miami Vice as "Bonzo" Barry Gold, owner of an electronics store and right-hand man of stolen goods king John Costellada in the episode "Made for Each Other".

Early Life/CareerEdit

Baker was born in St. Louis, Missouri. He attended Yale University where he graduated with a MFA in Drama. He began his stage career on Broadway in 1983 with his role in Doonesbury (with Keith Szarabajka), based on the comic strip. Before that, he made his film debut in 1979's Manhattan, then appeared in The End Of August (with Paul Roebling). He then turned to television, making his TV debut in the movie O'Malley, followed by Alice In The Palace. He turned to appearing as guest stars in TV series. Vice was his first such appearance, followed by appearances in Moonlighting (with Bruce Willis), Valerie, and The Equalizer, before getting his most famous role, as "Larry Appleton" in the comedy Perfect Strangers, which ran for eight seasons and began the "TGIF" ABC Friday lineup along with "Step By Step", "Full House", and many others. During and after his run on Strangers, Baker appeared on other ABC shows, including Hangin' With Mr. Cooper, Spin City, and Family Matters, then on Law & Order and Law & Order: Criminal Intent. He appeared in the short-lived series Twins (with Melanie Griffith). and as Sigmund Scrambler in the remake of the 1970s PBS series, The Electric Company. Baker's most recent appearances were in the 2010 movie How Do You Know, a 2012 episode of the TV series The Good Wife, and a 2015 episode of the series The Leftovers.

Personal lifeEdit

Baker was married to set designer Adrienne Lobel from 1995 until their 2009 divorce, they have one daughter.
