  • The original version of "Knock On Wood" was recorded by Eddie Floyd in 1966, and reached #28 on Billboard's Hot 100. Two other versions have also charted: Otis Redding & Carla Thomas in 1967 (#30), and the most successful version by disco artist Amii Stewart (#1 in 1979) and was certified Double Platinum by the RIAA.
  • "Slowhand's" version of "Knock On Wood" didn't chart, but two other songs from Behind The Sun did: "Forever Man" (#26, and Clapton's last Top 40 single until 1992), and "See What Love Can Do" (#80).
