King Swamp was a British rock band whose song "Year Zero" was featured in the episode "Freefall" of the series Miami Vice.

The band was formed in 1987 by Dave Allen and Martyn Baker, formerly with Shriekback. The band soon recorded their self-titled debut album King Swamp, which was released in 1988, and featured minor radio hits "Year Zero" and "Is This Love". The band briefly toured in 1989 to support the album and then returned to the studio to record the follow-up album Wiseblood, which was released in 1990 and failed to make any impact on the charts. Following the release of their second album, the group disbanded. Wray went on to perform with Sting and The Saturday Girls--backup group for Wray's daughter Lily Rae, a British singing star.
