John Nicolella (May 28, 1945 - February 21, 1998) is an American producer and director, who directed the Miami Vice episodes "Milk Run", "Lombard", "Whatever Works", "Bought and Paid For", "Phil the Shill", "Florence Italy", "Free Verse", "Sons and Lovers", and "Duty and Honor", also served as line producer for Season 1 and Season 2, replaced by Dick Wolf starting in Season 3, and nominated for an Emmy in 1985.
