Jimmie Ray Weeks (born March 21, 1942) is an American actor. He appeared in the show Miami Vice as Jerry Carrow, widower to Crockett's friend Barbara Carrow in the episode "One Eyed Jack" and Chuck Colby, former police officer and husband of DEA agent Linda Colby in the episode "Knock, Knock... Who's There?".

Early Life/CareerEdit

Weeks was born in Seattle, Washington. He got his acting start in Broadway plays, appearing in Enemies (as well as the 1974 TV movie based on it, marking his TV debut), A Streetcar Named Desire, and The Merchant of Venice. His movie debut was in 1977's Airport '77, followed by Crusing (with Ed O'Neill & James Remar), then Heaven Help Us, as well as numerous TV movies.

Miami ViceEdit

Weeks was cast as Jerry Carrow, widower of Barbara Carrow (a long-time friend of Crockett, allegedly murdered by Albert "Al" Lombard's men in the Miami Vice episode "One Eyed Jack". Three years later, Weeks returned in a different role, that of Chuck Colby, former policeman paralyzed in a shooting, and wife of DEA agent Linda Colby in the third season episode "Knock, Knock... Who's There?".

After ViceEdit

Weeks returned to movies in Midnight Run (with Dennis Farina and Jack Kehoe), King Kong Lives, The Seige (with Annette Bening), Analyze This, and The Abyss. On TV, Weeks guested in Law & Order, Spencer: For Hire, I'll Fly Away, and Homicide: Life ON The Street. Weeks' most recent role was in the 2001 movie Buffalo Soldiers.
