Jim Fitzpatrick (born August 28, 1959, Omaha, Nebraska) is an American actor who made his TV debut as Teddy Lake, Charlie Basset's latest victim that he shot dead and buried in his sports car in the episode "Definitely Miami" of the series Miami Vice.
Career

Fitzpatrick was born at the Omaha Air Force Base. He played football from 1981-85 with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats (CFL), Chicago Bears and Baltimore Colts (NFL), and the Tampa Bay Bandits (USFL), where Bandits owner Burt Reynolds helped Fitzpatrick begin his acting career. His first movie role was in 1979's Glory Days, followed by Cocoon (with Brian Dennehy, Jorge Gil, and Harold Bergman), Band of the Hand (with Laurence Fishburne, Al Shannon, Michael Carmine, Paul Calderon, and James Remar), Glass Shield (with Lori Petty), Armageddon (with Steve Buscemi), and his most recent movie appearance, 2011's Dolphin Tale (with Marc Macaulay).
Fitzpatrick had semi-regular roles in the soap operas General Hospital and All My Children, as well as Star Trek: Enterprise (his most recent TV appearance). His other appearances include Designing Women, Guts and Glory: The Rise and Fall of Oliver North (with Terry O'Quinn and Miguel Ferrer), Pacific Blue (with Larry Joshua), and JAG
