Jaime L. Sanchez (born December 19, 1938) is a Puerto Rican stage and screen actor. He appeared in the show Miami Vice as Grocero, Colombian drug dealer who sells Crockett & Tubbs $1,000,000 in drugs in the episode "Smuggler's Blues".

Early Life/Career[]

Sanchez was born in Rincon, Puerto Rico. He began his acting career on the stage playing the role of "Chino" in the original cast of West Side Story in 1957. He made his film debut in 1962's David and Lisa, followed by roles in The Pawnbroker, The Wild Bunch, Serpico & On The Nickel (both with Jack Kehoe), Carlito's Way (with John Leguizamo, Luis Guzman, and Viggo Mortensen) and its straight-to-video sequel, Carlito's Way: Rise To Power (with Guzman, Burt Young, & Giancarlo Esposito), Pinero (with Esposito and Rita Moreno), and his most recent role, Diega!. On television, Sanchez debuted in 1965's For The People, followed by The Fugitive, Bonanza, Kojak, Spenser: For Hire, and Law & Order.
