"Hello Earth" is a song by Kate Bush, featured on the album Hounds of Love in 1985 and released as a single in September of that year. It appeared in the Miami Vice episode "Bushido".
Notes[]
- The album Hounds of Love contained Bush's only Billboard Top 40 appearance, with "Running Up That Hill" (#30).
- The portion of the song used in "Bushido" is a long choral portion, the sound of which gave a feel of being in the Soviet Union during the Cold War, which was a sub-plot in the episode (Gretzky's wife was Russian and defected to the US with their son Marty).
