Janet Constable made her TV debut in the series Miami Vice as Barbara Carrow, wife of Jerry Carrow in the episode "One Eyed Jack", Susu, receptionist at the Caprice Escort Service in the episode "By Hooker by Crook", and an unnamed homicide detective in the episode "God's Work". Her other credits are limited to the 1984 movie Pulsebeat, the 1986 movie Revenge of the Nerds II: Nerds In Paradise (with Ed Lauter and Raymond Forchion), and the 1989 movie Midnight Crossing (with Dana Mark).
From 2004-2007 she produced a program for the AMC cable network, Date Night, which was a "wrap around" show to introduce and present movies on the channel. She also has numerous theater credits under the name Janet Constable Preston.
