"Do You Believe In Love" is a song performed by Huey Lewis and The News, recorded on the album Picture This in 1982. The song appeared in the Miami Vice episode "The Prodigal Son".

NotesEdit

  • This was the group's first Billboard Top 10 hit. They would have many more in 1984-85 with their follow-up album Sports and their first #1 hit with the theme from the time-travel movie Back to the Future in 1985.
  • On the same album Picture This is the song "Workin' For A Livin'". Though the song did not make the Billboard Top 40, it became an anthem of working people everywhere in the 1980s (along with "Working for the Weekend" by Loverboy and "Bang the Drum All Day" by Todd Rundgren).

PerformersEdit

  • Huey Lewis - lead vocals, harmonica
  • Chris Hayes - guitar, backup vocals
  • Johnny Colla - guitar, sax, backup vocals
  • Mario Cipollina - bass (single/double), backup vocals
  • Bill Gibson - drums, backup vocals
  • Sean Hopper - keyboards, backup vocals
