"Dirty Laundry" is a song performed by Don Henley, recorded on the album I Can't Stand Still in 1982. The song appeared in the Miami Vice episode "Rock and a Hard Place".

  • This was Henley's highest charting solo single, and the lyrics speak of the intrusiveness of the media into the lives of celebrities, especially by tabloids. The song was inspired by the tabloid-style coverage of the deaths of John Belushi & Natalie Wood.
  • Joining Henley on the single were his old Eagles bandmates Joe Walsh (who performs the first guitar solo) & Timothy B. Schmit, along with Steve Lukather (performing the second guitar solo) & Jeff Porcaro (performing drums) from Toto.
  • Elvis Presley's daughter Lisa Marie covered the song in 2005, and reached the Billboard Top 40 (#36).
