Donald Warren Moffett (born October 26, 1954, Highland Park, Illinois) is an American actor who appeared as Attorney General Thomas Waldman in the episode "Forgive Us Our Debts" of the series Miami Vice.

Moffett appeared on the stage in the early 1980s around the Chicago area before breaking into screen acting, debuting in the 1985 TV movie An Early Frost (with Bill Paxton and Terry O'Quinn), later appearing in The Equalizer, eight episodes of The Oldest Rookie, six episodes of Palace Guard, and four episodes of Crossing Jordan (with Miguel Ferrer) before winning starring roles in For Your Love (five seasons 1998-2003), Life Is Wild, and Friday Night Lights (his current role). Other appearances were in CSI: Miami, The Book of Daniel, Law and Order: SVU (with Richard Belzer), The Closer (with Kyra Sedgwick), Lost In Cleveland, and his most recent appearance, in Happily Divorced (with Rita Moreno and John Michael Higgins).

His movie career began with the 1987 film Black Widow (with O'Quinn), followed by roles in Pacific Heights (with Melanie Griffith, Guy Boyd, Jerry Hardin, and Dan Hedaya), Traffic (with Tomas Milian), Thirteen, Skateland, and his most recent movie appearance, 2011's The Sitter.
