Aaron Lipstadt (born November 12, 1952) is an American producer and director, who directed the Miami Vice episodes "Yankee Dollar", "Payback", and "El Viejo".

Lipstadt was born in Southington, Connecticut. He began his career in 1980 as an assistant production manager in Battle Beyond The Stars, and produced The Slumber Party Massacre in 1982. Lipstadt made his directorial debut in 1982's Android, followed by City Limits (also co-writer, with Tony Plana), several episodes of The Equalizer, Crime Story (with Dennis Farina), Private Eyes, Tour of Duty, Wiseguy, Quantum Leap (with Dean Stockwell), The Flash, Law & Order, The Antagonists (also executive producer), The Marshal (also executive producer), Now & Again, Level 9(also executive producer), The District (also executive producer), Dragnet (with Ed O'Neill), Law & Order: Trial By Jury, Law & Order: SVU (with Richard Belzer), The 4400, Medium (also executive producer), Rizzoli & Isles (with Bruce McGill), Elementary, and Grimm.
